I can't get over how hilarious everything about this is...the triple bass, bass synthesizer, lyrics...it's all perfection.

"Don't you think this song objectifies women?"

"Well, it's not about a woman, per se; it's about a part of a woman, you see." - Nigel Tufnel

I love it that everyone is playing bass. The bassist is even playing a double neck bass guitar!

The best thing about Spinal Tap is, the music is actually good. I love the double bass and the bass line here.

Best double entendre lyric in rock history. “Big bottom drive me out of my mind, how could I leave this behind?” Bon Scott would be proud. 😂

I met her on Monday
'Twas my luck Bun-day
As great as this whole song is, the fact that they used 'Twas makes me crack up the most.

"Or so I have read" like there is a scientific peer review journal on this.

This is actually a good song. I catch myself singing it in the car sometimes. My wife's like, wait, what?

Baby Got Back, The Thong Song, Bootylicious, All About That Bass, and so many more owe their success to this groundbreaking song.

You just don't get lyrics with so much sophistication these days.

“My Baby fits me like a flesh tuxedo
I like to sink her with my flesh torpedo”
Still the single greatest lyrics ever written in the history of the universe, since before the beginning of history.

Big bottom
Big bottom
Talk about mud flaps

“I met her on Monday, ‘Twas my lucky bun-day” really touches the soul.

the greatest thing about this song is the triple bass attack.  the bass and the drums are known as the "bottom" of a song, hence the triple bass and the heavy toms on drums.

I woke up w this song in my head and was singing it as I was making breakfast on my day off and had to come here for a recollection. I’m glad I did. 🤣🤣🤣🙄

Two years ago, I introduced 'This is Spinal Tap' to a group of friends (about15 years younger than myself). I'm not sure they laughed even once. I'm still wondering if I have the right friends.
