Even before things got personal, Luffy didn't like Blackbeard. I also love the way Oda introduced Blackbeard. Instead of a dramatic appearance, he made a random appearance that almost turned into a fight.

A hilarious yet genius way to introduce one of the main antagonists. A simple difference in taste showing how the two are not going to see eye-to-eye. And trying to order more than the other symbolizing their reaching new heights over the course of their adventures.
