Pope Francis Declares That Lucifer Is The God Of The Catholic Church

On April 27th, 2014, Pope Francis held a ceremony in St. Peter's Square at the Vatican to induct two former popes into sainthood. Catholic sainthood ceremonies are fairly standard procedures, and happen quite often. But on this particular occasion, Pope Francis wanted it broadcast around the world in 3D, HF and 3K.  What was so special about this ceremony to go to all that expense and trouble? What was it that the pope needed the entire world to watch? As it turns out, Pope Francis was about to declare that Lucifer is the Morning Star, a title that the Bible gives to Jesus Christ alone. The pope was telling all the world that Lucifer is God!

You’re not putting the Latin in context. This is common with Anti-Catholic videos. No one in the Catholic Church worships Satan. There’s no “tricks” to get people to worship Satan. As a matter of fact you seem to be intensionally taking things out of context. This is unfortunate because, to be honest, it’s deceptive.

This video is deceiving. It only takes a few minutes of research to understand that the word lucifer historically meant the "bearer of light" or as a reference to the morning star. Because of its connection to light, it has also been used historically to reference Jesus as the bearer of light. Lucifer in latin, translated into English means "light bringer" and has no connection to the devil.

In the Latin version of the text, as it appears in the reformed Missal and which is sung by the deacon at Saint Peter's in those videos circulated by the conspiracy theorist hacks, it goes:
"Flammas eius lúcifer matutínus invéniat: ille, inquam, lúcifer, qui nescit occásum. Christus Fílius tuus, qui, regréssus ab ínferis, humáno géneri serénus illúxit, et vivit et regnat in sæcula sæculórum."

As you may know, the word Lucifer literally means "lightbearer" (lux for light, ferre for "to bear" or "to carry"). The ancients typically associated this word with Venus, the Morning-star.... and it also happens to be a name traditionally assigned to the adversary, Satan. Here's the official translation of the Latin phrase I posted above:
"May this flame be found still burning by the Morning Star: the one Morning Star who never sets, Christ your Son, who, coming back from death's domain, has shed his peaceful light on humanity, and lives and reigns for ever and ever. Amen."

To anyone with a modicum of common sense, not to menton those who have actually attended the ceremony and followed along with the text, the deacon is clearly singing about Jesus Christ. The conspiracy theorists are quick to accuse the hymn of enthroning Satan as messiah in place of Jesus, as Catholics have always apparently been wont to do since Saint Peter's day. Strangely, these accusers, who are probably all Protestants claiming to be speaking the Biblical truth, are unaware that Scripture itself calls Jesus the morning star:
"I, Jesus, have sent Mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star." (Revelation 22:16, King James Version)

The traditional text of the Exultet is a little subtler, but the message is the same. Christ is the light in the darkness, who brings us out of the gloom of the Crucifixion into the everlasting day of the Resurrection.

The word lucifer in latin is a reference to the morning star which is a title given to Christ who triumphs over the morning star of old, the devil. Christ is the Morning Star that never sets, or is defeated. Translations and accuracy matters, your half-witted attempt to deceive people cannot stand against 2000 years of tradition and facts. Nice try though.

Try to know first the meaning of lucifer its a latin word... Which means a sun of a morning star.. Now if the pope used a latin language of course pope says Deus lucifer... Not Deus sun of the morning star because Deus follows in english already not a latin..
