I think Coppola stole at least the theme of the traditional courting scenes between John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara in "The Quiet Man" for the Michael and Apollonia courting scenes. There is the undercurrent of impending violence in both films.

Vikings mixed with Local people after their invasion that's why we find easily blonde sicilians. 👸🏼And certainly because they also mixed with moors who also came to the country in summer most sicilian have a beautiful brown skin like brown arabic people, their skin turn brown when they are exposed to the sun it doesn't turn red like most white people skin who can even burn because it's not made to be exposed to much to the sun☀️🥇
