Change Google Chrome 69 Design to v68 in 2 Steps

Here is a simple work around to change the latest Google Chrome version 69 Design or Theme to version 68. I felt its too much white everywhere after installing Chrome 69.

Rollback Chrome 69 Material Design to version 68 with the following command. Enter it by opening a New Tab.

Command: chrome://flags/#top-chrome-md

I did that thing, all it did was change to tabs to v68. I wish to have the search bar not show all my resent searches. The shortcuts show the symbol of the sites and not the site. Is there a way to have Chrome overt back to v68 completely.

the v69 style is not really bad looking.
the problem for me is in the new style, the tab and address bars become a little bit taller and made youtube's layout narrower.
as soon as I switched back to v68's style, youtube returns to wide layout on my 1080p laptop screen.

You are the best! I did this on my computer just a few minutes ago when I was cursing google out because of how pissed off I was about them updating my Google Chrome without my permission. They are almost worse than Microsoft with these updates except I'm still going to say that Microsoft worse because I hate them
