Tip: Use a push-pin to open new bottles instead of cutting off the tops. Much easier and less likely to cut off more than necessary.

Pressure builds up in transit. When you take the caps off flick the stem with your index finger (like you would the top of a soda or beer can) then grasp the bottle by the lid so you’re not squeezing the body and press a push pin down into the stem to open them up. Hope this helps.

Thank you for taking the time to do this. I am researching my first set of alcohol inks and this really helped me learn the differences and weigh the pros and cons.

Great review. Just getting started on gourds and appreciate your work. Would like to understand more about metallic inks like gold and copper....

The 1st box & the last box you tested were my 1st 2 sets. As i started selling more cups I slowly incorporated Ranger inks to my collection. The ones from Amazon did well but the Ranger & Pinata inks are by far the best.

There is a small orange bottle punch in the box to pock the hole in the tip, no cutting needed.

This was a very interesting video. Thank you. I must admit, I’d only ever heard of Piñata and Tim Holtz among the inks you demonstrated. The other name brands have never even come up in searches that I made personally. 🥰

Thank you for this video. I have only used TH because that’s what I have for my papercrafting and I’m new to epoxy art. I definitely think you could finish those off brand inks for sale. I like the softness. After watching this video, I feel that both types have their place depending on which look you’re going for on each different project.

What an informative and funny video! I love review videos so I don’t have to spend the money on bad products. It also changed my mind on Tim Holtz inks. I think the Picassio was the best. You are very funny 😂

I like this kind of presentation better, not that your tutorials aren't good in the first place (which is why I subscribed). You exhibited your lighter side today, with a nice sense of humor. I appreciate it.

Just stumbled upon this video today! I actually subscribe to your channel but don't know how I missed this! So I had a very bad experience with Piccassio inks. I made a red/white/blue alcohol ink swirl tumbler for a friend of mine ... the sapphire blue I used faded totally within one week. I had also applied it to an order of 14 tumblers that I had and some of those faded (with the sapphire blue). I wrote the Piccassio company and they said it was my epoxy and not their fault. I wrote they epoxy company (KS Resin) and they have never heard of this. I was so frustrated! I am not sticking to Pinata and Tim Holtz now (but may lean now to the Pinata). I have pics if you want to see the faded cup. I had to strip them all and start over. I used Pinata Sapphire Blue and have had NO problems with the cups fading! Just thought I would share! Thanks for all of your hard work!

This is SO helpful to me, as a newbie still researching these things!

This was fantastic! I really truly appreciate this thorough review. Omg the period stain 🤣 I’m still laughing, cause I thought the same thing but didn’t think you would actually say it.
I’m always tempted to buy the more affordable inks but after watching this, I will stick with piñata. I don’t have many Ranger ones but I have noticed that they aren’t as vibrant as the piñata inks.
Thanks again

Thank you, this was very helpful! I have both Picassio and Pinata so it's nice to see I've chosen well, lol!

Great video. I was watching Rhonda she does counters in Epoxy and she used dyes and alcohol. It was awesome. I might try that and some of the ones you tested. ❤️
