The analysis of mediation processes is a core topic to answer many research questions. It looks beyond the simple consideration of direct effects which goes often hand in hand with the oversimplification of reality. A mediation analysis informs a researcher and practician about a process improve or hinder the interrelationship between an independent and dependent construct as an intervening construct. Whereas, a moderator analysis is used to investigate whether the relationship between two constructs depends on the value of a third construct. Conditional mediation analysis integrates mediation and moderation analyses to examine how mediation effects vary as a function of context, boundaries, or individual differences. This workshop introduces a state-of-the art approach for performing mediation, moderation, and conditional (moderated) mediation analysis in PLS-SEM. After a general introduction about mediation and moderation analyses, the workshop gives guidelines to perform a mediation and moderation analysis in PLS-SEM. Finally, the most advanced issue which combines moderation and mediation in a conditional mediation analysis is illustrated.

Thank you very much for your helpful video. Could you indicate how to calculate the CoMe index when there is more than one mediators (serial mediators for example) and the moderation relies on the last path of the mediation ? Thank you !
