In 1974 Chuck Schumer proposed a strategy to move blacks out of an area of New York by arranging for the state to refurbish buildings in Flatbush where blacks resided. The planned refurbishment of the buildings would take approximately two years. After refurbishment the buildings would be sold back to tenants as a co-op. The planned relied on the blacks already situated somewhere else over this two year period and might not be able to afford the buy in. Chuck Schumer always claimed racism by others but overlooked his own despicable behavior.

Not condoning any violence. The protest itself, should be understood and recognized like any protest. This part of the message is lost by the media. People are screaming out to be heard, because they feel forgotten by the majority of politicians and our media. Trump provided them a voice for the first time. When Schumer wants to remove the President, he is saying to these people, your voice doesn’t matter. That’s where the frustration comes from. Prosecute by all means, but also recognize these people, when you make your laws. Include all parties, which I think will happen with the very slim majorities in each house. Negotiation should and I believe will be the the key to moving our nation forward. The country is split down the middle at this point, and so you need to try to do something with policy, that keeps everyone petty happy. Shoving policy down the throats of half the nation, will not work. Never has, and never will. Recipe for a disaster, whether it’s too far left or too far right.
