I love how as the playlist goes the music slowly turns from funny names to slowly just being straight to the point the deeper you go.

I miss them. Kel, Hero, Aubrey, Basil, Mari. I rarely feel so close to fictional characters, but this game got me. Hearing this music makes me sad, and makes me miss them.

I feel like Mari's spirit was real, especially since Hero heard her playing the piano.

I like how this one is called "Do you remember", playing Mari's part of the Duet while "Remembrance" plays Sunny's part

hearing this song and connecting it to the title theme, but hearing it played with so much more love and care like this just really striked me much harder, to realize what the title meant. now that i've finished the good ending and have the new title screen, with this new caring version rather than the old one, it means so much more to have finished the game and reached this point of acceptance.

after getting the good ending for the first time, for an hour straight i did nothing but look at the title screen and hearing the music, processing everything that I have witnessed for the 30 hours of my first playthrough.
this game was truly an experience i will never forget, i love this game so much

I never thought a music could make me cry so much

I've discovered this game with my first friend in my new school and we actually became very close and stood friends, but in the day he showed me the game he said "He kinda looks like you, i want to see you play your game" six years went by and in the Christmas of 2020 he remembered his promise and gave me the game as a gift and we've beaten it together

The game is probably the game of my life, not only for the story but for the friends i've made along the way and the message the game pass but most importantly, the feeling of being important to someone was there

When i've beaten the game, i've cried A LOT from the story but in the end, i cried a bit because everyone i was friends with back there stood with me throughout almost 7 years now and this song marks it for me

Thanks for completing the game OMOCAT, Thanks for Making OMORI and Thank you to all my friends to staying with me during this long ass time and always being so supportive

It's probably going to be a while before people see this but how did you feel hearing this again?

These final notes poke me in a strange way.
It's like this song is a alternative "theme" for Mari, even if it's so short.
It comes with the oh so known Final Duet motif, but the way it ends... It's like it had something behind, a specific emotion.
By Your Side shows an Idealized version of Mari, the kind, sweet, and lovable great sister that will always willing to help, and that will never leave your side. _Never._
But Do You Remember? sounds like the theme of the Real Mari, the one who is trying to make you let go of a lie that is eating you from the inside out. Nothing lasts forever, and everyone makes mistakes, and she forgives you.
The final notes, have something behind it, a feeling.
An emotion, that emotion, is forgiveness.
Do you remember, Sunny?

This track, however, broke me. This goddamn track was definitely enough to do it accompanied with this absolutely devastating section in Sunny’s house but the fact that it was revealed Mari was playing it brought me to tears. Normally when I cry from a piece of media I have silent, easily hideable tears that just run down my face like a quiet creek for a few seconds before subsiding. These, though, were those ugly, heavy breathing tears that don’t let up for whole minutes. I don’t know if it was all the terror that I had experienced in the section beforehand or the devastation from Sunny so innocently describing his house, but seeing Mari there so graced put me over the edge.

When this started playing as I headed from the piano room back to the stairs, the biggest chill I’ve ever gotten went down my spine, and I realized that this was the song they were practicing.

Spoiler:

This was the first part of the game that made me cry, when Mari is playing it in the house in the dream. Very clever how this song only appears (aside from the title screen) when someone is playing it, it's not just ambient music. As soon as I heard it and saw Mari's things around the house I knew that she was there. Walked into the piano room and just listened. Started crying. It was a beautiful moment. Spent the rest of the game in tears, and proceeded to bawl my eyes out for two hours after I finished. Never been hit so hard by a story.

the scene where you wake up in the middle of the night during your sleepover, and you go to the piano room where the piece is playing. it got to me more than the final duet, or any other scene in the story. fantastic, fantastic pacing.

When I first heard the title screen, it made me tear up from the emotions that it conveyed. You can guess how much I got affected when I heard this version.
