So I'm studying Japanese lol and I was talking to my Japanese boyfriend the other day, and I was talking about scissors and I said, "the 2 legged cutty thingy" but in Japanese and made the scissor cut motion and he laughed SOOOO hard 😂 learning another language is wild when you don't remember the word lol it was so funny 😂 he still talks about it 😂 we specifically call scissors that now lol in either language. He's way better at his second language (English) than I am in Japanese, so he helps me a lot ❤

When I wanted to by some Asian food at the market the lady said it is "so loud". It was really loud around us and I thought she could not understand what I wanted so I said it again. She repeated "It is so loud". So I pointed at the menu but she still said "It is so loud". I said it much louder, but got the same response. Turns out she was saying "It is sold out." 😅
