I remember when my dad's drill slipped and sent a 3 inch drill bit through his hand in the meaty party between the thumb and pointer finger. He reacted like this and told me to go get him a band aid. Halfway to me getting the band aid he said "Actually we better go to the hospital" His hand was in a cast for like 2 weeks. Also this is the same guy who built a house addition by himself and when he put in a new water heater he shocked himself from the main line and got sent back flying and stood up and said "damn I just shocked the shit out of myself." and kept working. He was a real man. R.I.P I miss you.

My older brother got mad at me when he had a cold and I called it a period. He was acting like me when I'm on my period. I mean I still helped to take care of him but I had to make the joke

my dad cut off the tip of his thumb on a saw while doing hardwood flooring. last time he got sick he didn’t leave his bed for three days and only communicated through whining. this was immediately sent to him 💀
