Creality CP-01 looks pretty similar to a snapmaker but since it may tooks sometime before snapmaker can produce their own, so I decided to just buy this all in one machine to explore its different functions and learn about laser engraving, cnc, and 3d printing

Great video! really well explained, i dont know if you could help me in anyway, i got this machine a few days ago and have made my own design to print, its nothing complicated its just a end cap for a airsoft suppresor im planning to make, however around 30 mins or so into each print the extruder motor will stop spinning but the printer will carry on as normal, it prints all the test models that came with the sd card but it wont work with anything else? i even downloaded other peoples designs to test and the same thing happens with them, it just stops extruding after about 2-3mm high of the print, any help is much appreciated!

Got this on Monday. I love it. I have 3 creality 3d printers already, and I love this one.
The 3D printing is really good. It uses a BMG direct drive system. My first test print was a benchy with NInja Flex at 60mms, printed it beautifully
The laser engraver is not strong, but so far I have engraves softwood, acrylic, and even the back of a mirror, so there is a pattern showing on the front. Strong enugh for the hobbyist
CNC is probably the weakest part IMHO, it is good and does its job, but the Bit deflects a fair bit. If you cut shallow, and take several passes at incremental depths it works well

For the money, I think this is an awesome machine, and recommend it to anyone who wants to do these things on a hobby level

Just got this 3 days ago. Have a few prints done. But after completing my latest print my cooled extruder temp is 51° and it won't go above 116° (actual temp is much higher) thermal runaway? But I was wondering if you've figured out how to update firmware, I cannot figure it out due to limited info on this machine on the web. I'm version 0.03

I would say this machine is a good machine if you want to get a first hand experience on the different CNC works such as cutting, engrave and 3D print but Im not sure how reliable the Creality can be. Maybe for a hobby or small business, it is a good machine to start but if getting into serious business, i don't think this would be a good choice.

Thank you for sharing this awesome video man. Looks like creality can produce good laser prints after seeing some of your tests. I was wondering if the results could be compared to lasers that have bigger wattage such as glowforge could be using?

I bought one, but is it normal that the machine making some noise or should it be silent?
