GETTING RID OF HALF OUR TOYS… Extreme Toy Room Declutter | Kelly Pecoskie

In today's video I am showing you how I purge our playroom with my kids. I recently saw a video that was talking about how many toys is too many toys for kids to handle before they get overwhelmed and the number totally surprised me! For this decluttering project, I tried a new method that really helped keep me from getting too sentimental or guilty about getting rid of our kids toys. Check out the video for my tips to keep your toy room more simple and minimal. I also have a FREE guide explaining my new decluttering method so you can conquer toy clutter!

We'll see you next week for another mom life video!

At their ages it is perfectly ok to choose the toys to let go without the children being there. Afterwards, just say that you have put those toys in a safe place & if they ask for something specifically, they can have it. Remember that the toys need to be easy for the child put away or you will be picking up toys forever.

As a 14 year old when I want a toy I TRY to think of what of what I collect but WHAT I WILL PLAY WITH cause if I don’t have toys with autism it will be horrible I also have to collect things in my situation but I have to think of something I liked forever (being a wannabe mom) my rules in my house are no BABY TOYS FOR 6-12 months which helps a lot cause there’s so many fisherprice toys I wish I had that I cannot have 😅 I collect two things: little people and baby dolls (smaller ones) also grandma recommends me to get books puzzles and board games so all of that will be used!

Dear parents!

When Your kids are very good behaviour all the time and always taking good care of their things, keeping their rooms very clean, loving their favorite things and want to make nice childhood collections of their things: books, clothes, toys, video games, clothes, DVDs and etc, then donataing is very wrong thing to do. If You have few space then storage boxes and shelves will help You out and Your kids will be very happy and thankful then, if they can keep their favourite things. Childhood things are very valuable and it is very sad, if they won’t see them anymore in their life. Every child should have the right to keep their things, if they can take good care of them all the time!!!

Respectfully,
Astra Viil 🙏🥰
