There are two types of Aram players: Those who have played ranked, and those who have not.
Those who have played ranked, and I mean GRINDED ranked, are chill af in aram. Never rage, never get upset.
Then there are the absolute casuals who take Aram way too seriously because they have never truly suffered.

after playing ranked for years, and having enough, I still enjoy pure mechanical aspect of the game. ARAM is a perfect way to chill in a Roguelike fashion, just get whatever, and try whatever. I don't type, chat muted, listen to music, watch a show on the side, pure fun no toxicity.

I used to only play ARAM for years (I had unstable Internet and didn't want to ruin people's SR games), and when I first returned to SR it was like learning a whole new game lmfao. But yeah, people who are toxic in ARAM truly are pathetic

I’ve played League since 2010… and the last few years I essentially only play aram, it’s so much more chill and fun, if one dc’s no one cares for reporting since the games aren’t ”serious”. A cup of coffee and a bunch of aram games is so relaxing, having an interesting YT video or stream in the background as well.

Aram makes me feel so less anxious to play. Like if I mess up It doesn’t impact the team as much. And if we lose there’s no flame, you don’t dwell on it and just hit play again then you’re right back in

aram is awesome. you dont have to play exhausting 40minutes long matches just to lose. if you lose aram you can always blame the champion RNG and just dont care. many champions are more useful on aram, some of them are less. its a different game. less stressfull and toxic

Aram players are people who are sick of playing ranked with a bunch of inters and toxic people. for the most part. I play religiously aram and TFT now, don't even risk playing ranked to have my mood ruined

Yes. We are in a different timeline yes. The timeline where LOL used to be fun. It is dwindling down even in ARAM but it's far better than the cursed isles that you call summoners rift!

Up until recently I was an ARAM only player and just grinded from Bronze to Gold 3. ARAM doesn't help you with macro or laning but playing so many different champs helps you learn the ins and out of most of the cast and helps overall mechanical skill I would say.

i have played 2000 ARAM games over the past like 3 years and it's actually pretty chill, i rarely met a player like the seraphine in the clip. just got sick of climbing and i know i cant get to Masters anyway so ARAM and the rotating game modes are my favourite.

aram is the ultimate casual experience. Its what those who arnt addicted and dont really follow the game that closely do.

Biggest problem with League is that the “Normal” game type takes too long to play. Riot has tried to fix this by making the games shorter in various ways, but it’s only made a lot of problem areas (like damage) get out of hand. It’s the baseball of popular games, as in, without intervention, the game times can be brutal.

ARAM on the other hand can be 1/2 or even 1/3 of the scale of time as a SR match.
