Being told to balance on the slight outside edges really helped me with this

THANK YOU for your videos!! A year ago I bought inline skates but soon gave up trying to skate because I couldn't figure what I was doing wrong, but now I understand what was my problem. I have just found your channel and am on a binging watching spree to learn more😂😊❤

When the model she showed is EXACTLY what you skate in:

You are explaining the exact thing because I’m a skater as well and hearing you explaining makes me thing the stuff that I never realise it (not this video)

Thank you, I just started two days ago and have this problem- I’m going to keep practicing with this tip though…. Cuz it truly is much easier skating in the middle than inward

i used to have scars just above my ankles from where the padding broke off of my old crappy walmart rollerblades and the hard plastic dug into my legs because i did this a little bit when would skate. one summer i had huge deep cuts there and i had to stop skating for a while. definitely dont recommend continuing to use cheap skates after the padding breaks or dulls- but the main problem that caused it was this

You have no idea how much you have inspired some people. I just got my first pair of skates and I’m starting tomorrow

Everything I needed to hear to get me going in a straight line and more confident around the bowl. Weird how even with experience just hearing it again and having it their is so helpful.

I'm so appreciative of your content. I just bought some rollerblades to my daughter. I've been teaching her and also sending a lot of your content to her. Thanks!

What I would say is to start off in a harder shell blade and then after u build enough strength switch to a softer mesh skate. And that will help even more

Not me seeing my literal rollerblades as the example of soft boot blades that are harder to balance with👀

If the blades are not aligned (since the bolts that connect them to the boots have adjusts), it can also increase that problem, right?
Please talk about safety modus operandi and equipment, here in my group I just lost 2 brothers to accidents while skating :(

Ngl seeing all these tips about skating is reminding me of how one would skii, I guess the two ARE similar in ways, just ones on snow the other is on pretty much any other flat serface

But yah, I've been looking through some tips for skating because I wanna know at least some of the basics for when I can get my hands on the skates at school lol

I tend to naturally stand like that for whatever reason so my feet are always trying to go for that position

soft boots are more comfortable for me but yeah just gotta make sure they are nice and tight/ snug so that the inward bend doesn't happen. It sometimes happens for me on one side.

I used to be REALLLY good at skating
I was self taught and all, I just suddenly stopped and now I want to get back in.
I was even selected for national skating tournament, though I couldn't go😊
