The road has not been easy for “Dance Mom’s” star Abby Lee Miller. After completing her prison sentence last year, the famed dance instructor was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. But if anything, Abby has proven she is a fighter and is not ready to hang up the dance shoes. The new season of Dance Moms follows Abby as she rebuilds her dance company while battling the after-effects of cancer that has left her confined to a wheelchair. Abby is ready to get back to her life and do what she loves most…teaching students to dance! With the goal of putting her life, health and dance studio back together, Abby returns to where it all began – the Abby Lee Dance Company in Pittsburgh.

It’s insane how they make it look like kelly was just willingly leting her kids back into an abusive environment when it’s clear she wanted to leave since season 2 but couldn’t because of the contracts. Her kids were scared and upset by the things abby said Paige even had a panic attack because of abby. And yet people think that kelly was just completely fine allowing her kids to stay in that environment??

The moms always wanted Melissa to take opportunities away from her kids so she can give it to their daughters. Melissa and her kids deserved everything they got, the other mothers wanted a normal life and they choose it that way, so why they are always complaining, is beyond me.

i agree with kristy rey and leslie here. why does there need to be a pack? as a dance mum or a mum in general any good opportunity that’s gonna help your child in future you should take it. but i also agree with holly Melissa should of been up front and not lied therefore nobody would of a had a problem (expect christi). Christi needs to understand life is not fair, some people get great opportunities some don’t! however that doesn’t mean it’s “unfair” for anyone else. sometimes you get it sometimes you don’t🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️and not everyone in life is going to make the same decisions as you. Period.

This just wasn’t the right show for Kelly and her kids I’m sorry but that’s my opinion on this. It’s not that I don’t love Paige and Brooke and I know abby was cruel to them. But to me Paige seemed like the kind of kid who needed weeks to learn and perfect a solo, who just dances purely just for fun and not a career prospect that she took seriously, just a normal kid, this wasn’t the right environment for Paige. Brooke was very talented but again, she just wanted to be a normal teenager and didn’t want to always be there working. I believe this is where alot of Abby’s frustration came from with the Hylands, she was trying to build a solid team of kids who were willing to dedicate, especially since it was team growing with fame and attention, and her career was taking off. Kelly was still calling this an extra curriculum activity it was so much more at this point realistically and the fact abby couldn’t just kick them off and the fact Kelly couldn’t just leave due to contracts caused conflict.

Christi went over this episode on back to the barre and she said the reason nobody sent their kids to dance on Abby’s other show was because Abby was using them to being more views and get money from it. She also said if Melissa would’ve told her hey I’m going to let maddie go then she wouldn’t have cared but she just didn’t tell anyone and went behind their backs as usual. It’s also wild how Abby called Kelly a wacko and then when Kelly called her out she tried gaslighting her into thinking she said something else. What a freak
