Yup! Sold cars for about 6 months and averaged 15-20 a month. 29 was the most I did in a month and I barely talked about the car. If we had something in common, we chat about that, if not, I really just answered specific questions they had and I’d Google half of the answers on the spot. And nobody cared. Half the time, they thought it was funny

It is called being friendly dominant as described by psychologist Kiesler in his Kiesler circle. Look it up. It helps.

Indifference is everything in sales. In my background in door 2 door sales I would use a ton of pull backs but most importantly, I didn’t care if they bought because I knew their neighbors would. That is how to sell.

In today’s day and age that is the ONLY way to sell. Especially cars, nobody wants an obnoxious salesman.

I agree i was a national sales manager and i did not give a sh#@!t if yhe customer liked me, just remember people like to hear themselves talk so let them and let them think
