Apple's 2018 9.7" iPad is still the best bang for the buck iPad you can get.. but not for long. Watch to find out why!

It features Apple Pencil support and a powerful A10 processor for an incredible price. Yes, the iPad Pro is better, but it's actually overkill for a lot of people. We show you why in the video!

What do you guys think of the 2018 iPad? Is it worth the price? Does it work great for you? Let us know in the comments! :)

I have the cheapest version (32GB WiFi) of the 2018 iPad there is + the pen. Bought them for purely studying purposes and loving them! I pick up all our lecture slides and save them on OneNote (free-of-charge Uni account). The app supports drawing with the pen smoothly, allowing me to annotate the lecture slides without printing. Plus as it supports using two apps side-by-side, I can actually read any e-books we have as course literature whilst taking notes on one and the same device.

If one is just starting their studies, this investment may well save money in the long run. I no longer have to print materials for (especially mathematics) courses, can easily take notes either typing or writing and can easily read course literature online.

This iPad is perfect for me. I don’t care for all the other things like, “cutting edge display” or. A12 Fusion chip with 3 Gb. This thing is perfect for school and just day to day use. Honestly this is a good purchase. Books, typing papers, Netflix and gaming. wonderful purchase and don’t regret a single thing. Not to mention this supports the Apple Pencil so its great for artist. WITH a headphone jack!

Ive had this for about 6 months now and i love it. However i feel that it need a bit more ram...maybe 3gb. Apps like microsoft words, powerpoint and some others reloads the moment you leave it and the system would crash sometimes.

I use it as a professional engineer. As a device for a working professional this is the most economic.

I’ve been using my 2017 iPad 10.5 inch device and still love it. I use GoodNotes 5.0 and my 1st generation Apple Pencil all the time. I’m certain from your reviews of the newer iPads that they would out perform my device. Nevertheless, I can’t justify that expense when my device performs wonderfully. Enjoyed this video.

I have the 2018 iPad in its month of release and I don't regret anything. The initial purchase was as a toy and it was pretty good for that. I only got an Apple Pencil when Uni started because the Adonit Pro wasn't cutting it anymore. Dropped it a bunch of times but it's only mildly dented.

I would totally go for an iPad Pro when I have the buck, but it is holding up just fine

I currently have the iPad 6th generation and I will say battery is easy to wear down but performance is perfect and I don’t regret getting this iPad!

I’m currently watching this video with the iPad 2018 32GB WiFi model. I use it for college and couldn’t be more happy with it. It has all the functions you need as a student. A good cpu, relatively nice camera if you wanna take quick pictures of boards or some friend’s notes, it won’t lag that much (actually I’ve never seen it lag), some nice speakers and a perfect size of screen for me. Still using and might not change it until the 2020 or 2021 model.

I don't think waiting is always the best bet. I got the $250 32gb 2018 iPad yesterday and I'm loving it for this price. You know the new ones will cost at least $329 plus most likely use the $130 pencil. Yeah no thanks.

seriously Apple? You removed the headphone jack from the iPad pro? That thing is huge and definetely has enough space for a head phone jack!

I bought my 2018 iPad the month it came out. I bought it for school because I like the touch screen and how smooth it runs. I highly recommend this over a chrome book. That’s just me thought. Love my iPad and don’t regret buying.
