Some advice for people learning to code. In short: don't get caught in the tutorial taking trap. The faster you get out there and work with real clients, the more quickly you will learn to code.

The music at the end is my own, and I think it will be my channel's intro music.

That's so true I have been watching so many tutorials on the internet year ago and I did not have the confidence to build projects on my own but when I decided to go to the real world and build a project for a client it gives me confidence.

Loved the video! If I may suggest a topic for another vlog - "Marketing for developers". It seems that your main expertise is starting small businesses and I think the marketing/promotion part of that process is something that eludes many people, who are already reasonably competent coders/builders.

Thank You, Stef for continuing the good work. Btw, is there a point in learning either Java or Kotlin for Android (esp from scratch) in the age of Flutter and RN? Or else, for how long do you think native dev will be important as a skill?

How do you get real work projects or internships if you’re a CS major who can code on all ends, but don’t have any experience. Do you just do your own small (or big) projects and keep building your resume? Or who do you ask to build stuff for free? Just random small companies?

How much computer science fundamental do you recommend to study like data structure and algorithm. I understand these may not be practical for a developer. But for the long run I believe any serious engineer should be solid on these knowledge. Btw how comfortable are you with these fundamental knowledge.

Stefan, just curious are you using some kind of filter on your videos in post-production?
