OTTOCAST U2 Air Wireless Apple Carplay Adapter | Fastest AND Best Option?!

In this video I look at the Ottocast U2 Air 2022 Wireless Apple Carplay adapter dongle for Apple Carplay. Is this the fastest connecting Wireless Apple Carplay option out there? I am not sure but given that it only takes 18 seconds to connect, I am very impressed. It is also very small and easy to hide which is a plus given the tight cabins of some cars.

Apple really needs to release its own wireless adapter, that way you know it will work. All these reviews online are mixed some say it works others say it’s trash and it really makes me weary of spending 100 dollars on something that won’t work.

I use the Ottocast U2AIR Pro wireless adapter. But when I turn my car off, I cannot use Siri for approx 30 seconds… which I’m a nurse, so I’m usually trying to send important messages while walking into a job.

It’s like my CarPlay stays connected to my phone for 30 seconds, even though my car is locked and off.

I drive a 2018 Subaru outback.

those one will not automatic connect your call if you was in middle of the phone call, black and freeze your screen sometime. I had to return this unit eventually

Sorry, I have a dumb question. I have a 2013 RAV4. It has a screen but doesn’t come with Apple Car Play. If I purchase this device and plug in with my car, it is not going to work right?

Great review. I also bought the same product for my 2018 Kia stonic. It’s works perfectly.
Just one question: when you turn off the car, turn off the car stereo and close the car (or simply open the door) does the dongle stay on in your Hunday? on my kia the blue led on the dongle never turns off unless I unplug the usb port. thank you
