Is it possible to make a cart of this with the current version of the texture pack already applied and play it on an actual N64 or would it not work due to hardware limitations?

Please don't stretch 4:3 games to widescreen (16:9). It just looks wrong (the game wasn't designed for widescreen). Instead, add a border or just keep the original 4:3 aspect ratio rather than stretching it.
