👋 In todays review we are checking out the latest model for the John Deere S100! This riding lawn mower has a 42'' deck and is the standard size to go with! The exterior is finished off in one of the few colors offered called "John Deere Green" with all the yellow accents! This model has standard safety features like the button used to mow in reverse as well as when the seat is lifted it will cut power! Pretty standard for other mowers as well! The specific features on this John Deere S100 include the parking brake, fuel level meter and even the pin to pull or push if you need to move the mower when it's not started.
This 2022 John Deere S100 cuts like you would expect! I have around 3 hours on this model and most of those are riding around doing yard work with two actual cuts under it's belt! I can mow my lawn in about 30 minutes which isn't too bad and it can haul like a champ! I've definitely put it through the paces so far with the workload I have have and it's a great maneuverable if you need something to get through tight spaces! Getting through my fence and the trees has been a breeze with this size! Other than that, not much else to talk about, great mower for the price and will get the job done!

I just bought one yesterday at Lowes for $2, 399, my friend used his military discount for me so they took off $249, it basically paid the taxes, older gentleman was so cool, explain everything abouttheS100, he had one for 12 years, i told him the S100 didn't come with the cover lid to store your phone, keys, he when over and took one off the S140 and put it on the S100 for me 'how cool is that.
I think I'm going to really enjoy this tractor.

Good informatiion. My 20 year old Husqvarna died today and I'm considering this model as a replacement. I have a half acre lot that while flat, has a lot of bumps. I was happy to see you were using it in your woodland area and use a trailer to haul wood and debris, as I do. This review has given me confidence that this could work for me. Thank you!

😆 Beauty video!! The juxtaposition of a riding lawn mower vs the usual vehicle video is an great idea and just in time for Father's Day.

I bought the front bumper at Lowes for $90, it's good to have, to not bust the plastic hood.

You can raise the plastic grass shoot up using a bungee cord wrapped around the peddles.

Just an fyi…when the mower is off and the parking brake is set you don’t need to push your foot down on the brake pedal to start the engine. You only need to press the brake pedal to start it if the parking brake is off.
Also if you’re mowing don’t raise the mower all the way to the 4” height or the belt will rub against the top of mower deck and remove the nice yellow paint on the deck…I found that out the hard way

I have a flat 3/4 of an acre. I don't need a big mower, it can be 30" but nothing bigger than 42", because right now I use a push mower, while that is great for a excellent work out, I'm not getting any younger (60 yrs) and anything is better than walking for 3 hours especially in a North Carolina summer. By the way, I don't need to have a Zero Turn mower, just a solid and not expensive vehicle. Thank you for your suggestions!
