Derek, great video. My husband and I appreciate it. However, your video neglected to tell us that there is a slim metal rod at the back of the mower that when pulled out, it won’t allow your mower to move forward, even after you start mower and have disengaged the brake. Once we figured that out, we were able to move forward and start mowing. But really appreciate this video. 👏🏽👏🏽

I believe the 2023 John Deere S100 with the green deck has the side mounted oil filter with drain plug. I went to Home Depot and the S100 they carry has this setup.

I think I know why they did it like they did it like they did but I think the reverse mowing switch is awkward and kind of rinky dink.

That orange plastic piece broke off my s100 only having it for 2 weens how do I replace it because to engage the parking brake I have to open the hood and pull it from there how do I replace it?

I just got mine in however it starts and I have parking brake off but it won’t go forward nor backwards HELP !!!

Probably not a big deal, but i never liked having the choke integrated into the throttle.. I just prefer to start mine (x324) at approximately half throttle
