Hot on the heels of their Penny’s Farm album, Geoff Muldaur visited the AG Studio to shoot a video with longtime jugband partner Jim Kweskin.

AG couldn’t resist asking Muldaur to ruminate on the art of finding your own musical voice: How does one find their own style that is informed by the blues legends but does not mimic them?

So much respect for Mr Muldaur, I have the fortune to see him few years ago in McCabes L.A with his daughter, Van Dyke Parks, and the sound of the guitar never ear before although Sabicas is my hero...get his records and realice that night at home, he was the singer that I love from Better Days album, I just love how serious he is abaut music, songs and the blues..

Pretty great. He is someone I've always known about but never really listened to. So far.

Geoff, did you play the solo on Richland Woman with Jim Kweskin and the jug band.
If so, do you teach it anywhere. I'm 78 and been playing since I was 13. I'm a decent finger style player and would love to suscout that solo. Thanks for what you've contributed to the genre
