Here is my first piano arrangement of the Final Fantasy XVI Soundtrack, with many more to come once the game is released.
With the previews available so far, I was able to put all the pieces together for this theme, which played in the gameplay demo while fighting Benedikta and Garuda as well as the PAX East showcase of the Eikon Battles. I'll update the name once the game is released. EDIT: Changed the name to the official title "To Sail Forbidden Seas".
I already loved Soken's work in FFXIV and I'm really looking forward to the rest of the soundtrack.
There seems to be no other full track that I can completely recreate from the demos, so until the release of FFXVI I'll upload some other pieces (probably more Octopath Traveler II or Elden Ring).

I always replayed the part at 1:35 in the original track because it felt so emotional and beautiful. It made me feel bad for Benedikta. I got the same feeling listening to your rendition ! Amazing piano arrangement ❤️

Your cover is so good! I've been trying to transcribe this song since that first 45 min preview and it's awesome to see you beat me to it because i was struggling with it. Theres a segment I managed to transcribe from the state of play at around 17:55 - 18:55, the music just shines. I'd recommend transcribing basically any of the songs in the FF state of play because they are just so good.

The catchy chorus of this song is note for note from his ff14 eureka theme (and the zone named logos lol) and part of me thinks its intentional lore easter egg possibly, or just a meme cuz soken do be soken. Either way, your playing is phenomenal!
