Three thousand people have joined France's "yellow vest" protests all the way on the island of Reunion. The island is part of France, but located in the Indian Ocean, off Madagascar. Protests began on the French mainland, where demonstrators are wearing high-visibility yellow jackets in protest over higher fuel taxes, the economy, and President Macron's leadership. Many businesses remained shuttered after mobs torched cars and trashed a fast-food outlet. Meanwhile, protesters in France's mainland plan on marching to Champs Elysees Avenue in Paris, vowing to continue their actions until the government drops the taxes. So far, at least two protesters have been killed and hundreds have been injured.
