You are correct that Maui Jim support is amazing. I own 3 pairs and broke the frame on one of them. They told me to mail it to them and they would fix the frame. When they came back I noticed the small scratches on the frames were gone. Then I realized that they gave me a brand new pair of the same glasses. It was years ago so I don't remember the price. It was either free or like $25 total (including shipping). I was shocked that the mailing address for their support is Peoria, IL and not Maui, HI.

I have a pair of Sungod. You can customize the frames, lens and icon color which means your glasses can be one of a kind. The frames are sturdy and the hinges are pretty much unbreakable. The lens offer great polarization and clarity. They are very light and problem is the frames ride high on your nose which makes it harder to wear baseball type hats because the bill of the hat rests on the frame.

Maui JIm and Serengeti make very good sunglasses their optics are the best for price. I don't like the Logos on the front of the lenses but otherwise love my MJ and Serengeti. They also have great customer service. I
Other independent brands I reccommend: Matsuda, Masunaga, Leisure Society, Mykita, IC!Berlin, LGR, Gold and Wood, Sama

Vuarnet and Etnia Barcelona make cool sunglasses with high-end lenses, and what''s best, they're not owned by Luxottica.

I must wear sunglasses all of the time, even when I sleep.
I have combat TBI from suffering concussions while serving in the military.
I just found SUNGODS a few years ago and they're amazing. They're light, comfortable, and protect my eyes perfectly.
I highly recommend them.

Very cool. I liked these Scottish ones but I’m biased. Fantastic review as ever. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Also the bespoke dude has some aviator model call it 'Condor' is really cool. It would be nice to see a review. Garrett Leight has some model too call it 'Riviera sunglasses'. Actually it would be nice a video with the best aviator sunglasses haha. Thanks man

You can buy Oakley's that are USA made in certain high-end frames if you know what you're looking for. - just sayin.

My favorite non-Luxottica owned brands are Garrett Leight and Ahlem. But I like that you mentioned a couple of brands that I’ve never even heard of, I’ll have to check them out!

My uncle loved his Maui Jim sunglasses. I might have to see what’s the big deal

What’s the model name of those Serengeti’s?

I don’t recommend getting prescription for your costa glasses. Did the warranty claim and I’m getting a lot of runaround. My one lens came in not fitted in the frame properly.

Personally I like moscot.. I like the lemtosh but the main reason isn't really the frame its their tinted lenses...I love tinted lenses with the johnny depp/robert downey jr look.. but its hard to find good quality brands that sell only slightly tinted coloured lenses

How about a company called Rudy Project

Have you checked out the Dillon Optics? Their satin finish lenses are really unique, but I've never owned a pair. I'm curious as to the lens and frame quality
