While I agreed with most points in the video, the response to the first question I don’t think is the best. As someone who passed the Grant Thornton interviews, when asked “tell me about yourself” the general rule of thumb is usually to keep it short, sweet, and to the point (a couple lines, very much like on your job description for a resume) a lot of what was stated in the example you gave would have been irrelevant for that particular question and relevant for further questions down the line that the interviewer would have eventually asked. The example response in this video was WAAAAY too lengthy and long winded, the last thing you want is the interviewer to think that you’re rambling. A very brief summary of who you are, your professional history and why you’re interested in the role is all that’s needed (no longer than 2-3 sentences)
