Rees Mogg knows that banning online voting means MPs from, hm, let's say Scotland, won't travel a billion miles to vote.

So your man wasn't saying 'I won't wear a mask because you broke travel restrictions', he's saying 'why are you here? We specifically arranged it so you wouldn't be.'

There is another reason which you don't touch on, Michael. Most MPs are expected to live in the constituencies they represent and the majority do. The South East and the richer parts of London vote overwhelmingly Tory and its MPs can commute in daily. For the rest the further their home is from London the longer they have to be away from their home to attend debates at Westminster. There are hardly any Tories in Scotland and the SNP has been a constant thorn in the side of the government.
