The tactical cube didn't exist in the shows at the time of First Contact which is why they didn't send them LOL - the Voyager writers had written them yet LOL

I’d love to see the original battle of Wolf 359 reenactment, then the same battle with SGU ships such as the Aurora class, Daedalus, Prometheus, Bilskirnir “Thor’s original ship”, O’Neil class etc. would be a fun battle to watch!

If you have a look to the beginning to the video, you can see that all your shields dropped about 75 percent. As far as I remember my ST:BC experience, this was a bug that sometimes occured randomly.

starlfeet ships are always at a disadvantage compared to borg ships just to one simple issue. borg ships are designed to soak damage due to their massive size. starfleet ships are only a tiny fraction of a borg ship hence their damage soak ability is limited.

Voyager didnt destroy a Tactical cube until after she got future tech, in fact they didnt even lower the sheilds they just made them flucuate.

Same reason they only send one cube at a time, the borg aren't actually allowed to win. If the borg made a real effort they'd just steamroll over the federation and everyone else in the alpha quadrant. The writers made the borg too strong of an enemy initially and then had to quickly scale back their power otherwise they couldn't tell any stories that didn't end with the end of the federation.

They did not send a tac cube to earth because it did not exist yet.
