Birth of the Federation: the power of the Romulan cloak

If used properly the Romulan ability to cloak their ships can be very devastating in the game called Birth of the Federation by Microprose. A Romulan task force engages what otherwise would be a strong Federation task force of 7 commands, 2 strikes and some fast attacks, but thanks to the Romulan cloak the Federation fleet gets destroyed with only their troop transports making an escape.

Thats why I love Romulans in BotF. At First strike they can wipe out their opponents. I needed only 18 Battle cruiser to clear a Borg Cube. Or any other super ship which are deployed as a event.

You got a bit lucky that they ran. If they had stayed and fought the Romola ships are weak
