Good tip. I would have liked to see how you actually use the oil bottle. Especially how do you get the oil to the end of the stick and onto the bobbin race when you can only hold the oil bottle in a horizontal position.

I actually took one of my empty cones of thread, angled it slightly, and then hot glued it to the side of one of my long arm leg. It's always right there when I do a bobbin change and stays out of the way of any fabrics or batting.

Thanks! I've always kept mine in a cup and in a bag as well, but I did not know that the spout should remain up. Also, can other brands of sewing machine oil be substituted?

Pretend...well, let's not pretend- I have no idea how to use this bottle. Where does the oil come out of? There's bo rip to squeeze it out of. How do I get it to the tip? It's sad when people just assume that everyone knows everything.
