AI will kill all jobs in this world, really?

Automation and AI will take away all the jobs. This is the common concern everyone has nowadays. With powerful generative model such as GPT3 which can create a simple website, write job description, or even a poem, everyone is under a fear that AI will not take away jobs but will dominate humans (terminator movie type of scenario). In this video I will share my thoughts on this topic.

You missed the math here. Yes, new jobs are being created; however, 'less' jobs will be available. Companies don't want to pay more employees which is the point of machines. Critical thinking jobs will be less in demand as technology gets better.

Hey man, there's a remarkable point in this video, it's true that the world is evolving day by day, but our brains (my brain) are limited, we can't learn everything. We will be overwhelmed and dull

Am a teenager, I was thinking of taking Law, LLB but today my mother discussed this topic with someone and he told my mom that IT will be in demand not Lawyers. But the problem is IT needs Maths, and Maybe Science which I don't like. There was a friend of My mom, She is an advocate in the High court. She earns good I mean not too much but it's sufficient for her as her husband is also working in a good company so I always looked up on her like she's my inspiration and due to that I gained interest in Law studies like learn new Article and Charges Then Solving cases. But because of this I don't know what to do. Am in 8th grade 2 years left to 10th and I really don't want to make a decision in rush after 2 years so I thought of Becoming a lawyer then a judge. My mom told me that it's not like I have to go in IT but she said IT has more scopes than LLB. Now am double minded as I really want my career to good not best but good.
Am gonna talk to my father but please help me out
Am an Indian and IT is number one in India now then what would happen after 10 years. Tell me something, Can be gain interest in IT in 2years. I dont think so!
I wish this AI shit is gonna stop. Robots gonna ruin human life.

The problem is that will there be more jobs created from AI in comparison to the jobs lost, this is something only time will tell.
One other thing to consider is that it is very expensive to automate any particular process 100%, it is much more cost effective to automate it 80 - 90% of the way and let human action guide the other 10%

Great video! In many circumstances, change is inevitable and unstoppable. Rather than whining about it, those who are open-minded enough to accept change, embrace it, and adapt are poised for success.

The problem is to get into this industry every company will demand only(b.tech/mca/be graduates) even if a b.com or ba or mba guy somehow learns this still his resume won't get short listed because the eligibility criteria is you have to be a technical or cs graduate or someone with relevant experience.

The worst thing about using AI in the service industry is that the AI can't understand why people say what they say 🙅 There are people that just don't make sense.

I think India is still struggling with it's hardware and infrastructure industry, we should we more focused about production by masses so that we can create more job. All these AI and data science jobs have huge scope but only in western countries.

A.I kills jobs, tax revenues and society. Automation kills more jobs than it creates. If all the jobs are automated who will have money to buy goods and services unless you want the government to give you monopoly money that's worthless and control what you have to do have to do to get that money. I hear you on the efficiency argument as a business owner I've learned one thing inefficiency creates jobs. The more efficient you become the less you employ others. But the cost is people who are not able to make the switch to engineering or data analysis get left behind. Yeah it pays more to work with your head than your hands. But there are not always opportunities to work with your brain depending on education level and sadly sometimes race. But there is always a opportunity to work with your hands as long as you are willing. Education level, race, etc are less of a barrier for employment. Would love to hear your response on this topic take care.

You are absolutely right Daval Patel. I was getting afraid a lot that robotics take away our jobs in future. But then as u said that robotics has change the old technology to something new but which will create new jobs and get rid of old boring ways of working manually. Same way currency is change from notes to digital transactions and u also explain about oil reserves finishing and we investing now in green technology such as wind and solar which is more better. So time is changing. Thank you for the video.
