Is this an Airsoft Eotech or not?

It's real. The reticle is fuzzy because the camera isn't focused on the background. There also isn't the hideous tint that you get on the fake ones.

One easy way to tell is that the rear lens is pretty recessed on a real eotech. Dummies will have the glass pretty flush with the rear in comparison.

That's an authentic EXPS2 for sure. Apart from what looks like proper stickers on the bottom, the reticle is not visible when you look through the sight from the front, the lenses are clear and non-reflective. Most importantly, when you look through the sight normally from the ocular side you see that top of the viewing window is a bit rounded inside due to the specific EOTech internal geometry. None of the fakes have that. They fake looks, stickers, logos, etc., but not that.

I recommend getting a flash cover instead of the ugly plastic, they work just as well if not better, and they don’t look like you dipped your EOtech glass in epoxy resin

one way to tell, is the wire cable around Battery cap, real ones are a plastic nylon type.... Replicas have a steel wire (majority i have seen)

That’s a real Eotech for sure, the reticle all fuzzed out though and the lens protector kinda bends the light rays a little bit, because I have one

It's real because it says Eotech, it's a proprietary trademark for the name and the product. Most repro Eotech's or 55X styled sights often say that they're not Eotech but simply some sort of holographic and almost are always rebranded.

It’s real you can tell because of the grain of the optic instead of it being solid because of how eotech makes their projectors

I know I already commented on this video but it’s very important that people know the difference between the real and fake because some unfortunate person purchase the fake Eotech for 700 at bass pro and you have the model that doesn’t support night vision.

It looks like a holy warrior to me however it could be real because it’s no image in front, the easiest way to tell is that Eotech doesn’t have a red dot it uses a completely different technology hologram, all Eotech clone uses led that are always visible to the eye however you need to be careful buying used Eotech because some clone have IR led that emit no visible light but show up on night vision consider yourself officially worn.

It’s real. There aren’t any clones that I can think of where the rear lens is closer towards the middle than it is near the rear back plate. Additionally the objective lens has anti reflection and you can see the curve that’s typically not present in close at the top looking at it from the back side.
