This is a very great introduction video for anyone who want learn what a topology is. It is great that you pointed out that if U is in the topology then U is called open. It took me a week to realize that all elements in the topology are open. Can’t wait what you will do later on.

Great analogy with the biscuit & jelly to metric & topological spaces. Really nice use of venn diagrams for visuals. Looking forward to more videos and learning more from you!

A fun fact is, assuming M is a topological space, that the empty set and the set M are clopen, they are both open and closed.

The continuity definition in topology is much easier. You don’t need any epsilons/deltas.
