And he had the voice of an angel. Always loved Greg Lake. ELP is the kind of band that makes you love and appreciate music

The original King Crimson was an amazing collection of talent. Greg Lake had the perfect voice for the music they created. I was 16 when their first album came out in 1969 and was obsessed with it. I even wrote a fan letter to them and received a reply from Pete Sinfield. Im sure Keith Emerson was happy to see Greg leave the band and he immediately swooped in to form a new group.
I feel fortunate to have been alive at the time so much great music was being made. Led Zeppelin and Yes were just two of the other banda that were formed around that time. Anyone who says there's music just as good today but you have to search for it have no clue what they're talking about. Popular music has gone so far downhill i feel sorry for young people today.

He also recorded, what is in my opinion, the greatest Christmas song ever: “Father Christmas.”

I was lucky enough back in 1980 or so to see E.L.P. they had a orchestra backing them
Carl Palmer is only one still with up. Carl Palmer is the greatest drummer in have ever seen live. I know they will not be in the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame but they should be. I know only a couple of songs were on the hits list. Father Christmas plays ever year during the holidays but at least they are Rock N Roll. Why hip hop and rap folks are in the Hall makes no sense. It really doesn't now because they have a Hall for that style of music

Met him at a bar in Berlin right after the owner gave us all a hit of acid in our beers. What a wild night

If it wasn't for Emersons solo at the end it would have gone by the wayside
