Synthetic division example (and why it's better than polynomial long division) #shorts

In this video I will share another synthetic division example that will show you why synthetic division is a way easier process than using polynomial long division.

This synthetic division example will convince you why it is a much easier process to apply. The two are essentially the same process, but synthetic division is basically a polynomial long division shortcut that will save you loads of time and many possible errors.

If you want to know when to use synthetic vs long division, I learned synthetic division and never use polynomial long division in my own math work. Polynomial long division is still a helpful skill to know so that you can understand how to factor polynomials.

Which strategy do you prefer?

Isn’t 0-85 = -85 therefore is would be a -85 coefficient and then you would do -85X -5 for the last term to get+ 425 and the final value would be 417 /x+5 and 2nd to last value would be -85
