The Czech-born Festrunk Brothers, Yortuk (Dan Aykroyd) and Georg (Steve Martin), are disappointed their computer dates aren’t American foxes, but Croatian sisters (Gilda Radner, Laraine Newman). Aired 05/22/78

I was born in Czechoslovakia, I used to live in Bratislava for some time and it still blows my mind how they got hold of the portable floor vacuum

The sad walk to answer the door kills me.

the posters on the wall are a stroll down the Spencer's Gifts memory lane.

Also, Steve Martin plus SNL = comedy gold

We loved SNL, back in the 70s. It was the coolest thing on TV . After SNL, you could watch Midnight Special with Wolfman Jack and great music.

This is the most 70s sketch! The outfits, the stereotypes, the slang, the bar right in the living room

I remember watching this live at my house with a room full of friends. We watched it EVER Saturday Night....the 70's of SNL were untouchable. We had so much fun eating, drinking and laughing our butts off. Never will it be as great as it was back then!

Garrett Morris can hardly keep from laughing. Loved all these guys.

These guys are just too wild and crazy for me, they swing too much and it intimidates me. Makes me believe my chances are limited with the foxes.

I love that the "portable" floor vacuum is the size of a small car. 😆

The biggest LOL for me is when Garrett Morris slaps Steve Martin's hand and instead of returning the slap Martin just looks at his hand with his mouth agog LOLOL

This is classy! I´m Czech and I actually think that their accents are not far away from how some Czechs sound when speaking English :)

The saddest part is I actually had those pants. The hat too.

The SNL cast in the late 70's had an amazing amount talent. It was like an all-star virtuoso lineup. We'll never see the likes of them and their comedic creativity again. I say this with full confidence!!!

I’m Czech and I do not know what is so funny about. This is how we do all the time. Just a same day here swinging about and talking to hot foxes all the time

Grew up in 70's. Adored SNL.
Had two guy friends, who did a spot-on perfect impersonation of the Wild & Crazy Guys . (sometimes in the middle of class!)
Even the teachers would crack up.
Good days. Thanks for posting

I remember watching this when I was 17 on SNL. In 1979, I was on the Cubberley High School in Palo Alto, California yearbook staff and there is me in our year book staff pic and next to me was a full size poster of Steve Martin, white suit, fish sticking out of vest pocket.

Those wecre the days when the characters actually looked at each other when they spoke and didn't use the cue cards at all. They actually studied and memorized/ learned their lines. Nowadays they look past each other and never make any eye contact because they're too focused on reading the cue cards. They did alot of drugs back then and the still managed to memorize their lines. They are classic and quality shows. The best ther ever was. Nothing will ever compare unless Lorne starts cracking the whip.
