Hi Jake! I just wanted to point out that for Mac users, the key to use with push pull tool is actually Option key, not the command key.

I used this to draft my construction plans for enclosing my 16' x 30' porch. Very useful for getting accurate measurements as well as layout of headers, top/bottom plates, and stud spacing. Printed out on 11x17 paper for front and side walls. Start construction this fall.

I finally made the switch to Sketup and I have to say; it is the most user-friendly program I've ever come across.
It just feels so intuitive (compared to other programs that I've used in the past).

(side note, I am on a mac and in order to match surface materials, like when you were pulling out the roof and it was blue, I actually had to click the alt. key)

If you have mac and your command or control don't make it white try without deleting the middle line of the triangle and then just pull back, after this you should have a full white roof and just make sure you close the full triangle in the back too before deleting the line in the middle, thats what works with mine, good luck everyone

Great video, I just finished my second design class at HCC using the Autocad software and I wish we had learned to use this software instead. I heard about SketchUp from some classmates but never seen it until now. In my opinion this is far better than cad and more easy to use.Thanks again for the great tutorial(s)
