Finding Percent of #math

Percent means per 100. In order to find the percent of a number just multiply the two numbers and move the decimal two places to the left.
6% of 100 = 6 x 100 = 600 and move the decimal to the left so you get 6

I do the formula which is to convert the 6% which is the Rate into a decimal before multiplying the 100 which is the Base, but this is another good strategy lol. Answer is 6.
