LEGO Insect Collection REVIEW – Did it get nerfed?

Lego's new Insect Collection is here and is both new and unique while feeling very much at home alongside their Botanical Collection. These insects were inspired by an original set of five – a blue morpho butterfly, hercules beetle, praying mantis, ladybug, and a honeybee. Like always, Lego's in-house designers made changes before bringing this set to the masses. Do their changes help or hurt the overall impact of this insect collection?

Cool review! And cool set too: Happens that I had the opportunity to get my copy signed by the designer when he attended the set release event at my local Lego store. He's a prolific and awesome creator, and also a great dude in person.
