I agree with this line tbh. Criticising the FIA is one thing, criticising an individual official or steward is another. If they do make a mistake, it's better to call out the entire marshalling system or something more general than calling out a particular person (which is pretty unsportsmanlike)

He ain't wrong though. All sides this year feel wronged because the line for stewarding moves around more than any team's rear wing.

FIA needs to recognize that maybe these comments are happening for a reason and actually spend some money to try to fix it.

So, irritating as it may be, that does actually explain why Christian's "Rogue Marshal" is not OK, but Toto's "F*** Them All" is. Individual vs. Whole. Michael gets paid to take the knocks, the marshals don't, so shouldn't have to put up with drivers', teams' or team personnel's BS, which is fair enough. It always makes sense when you park the emotion and break it down. Something something social media something something.

One thing I would note with the Steiner one that's a bit cheeky is that he said it over team radio and it only came out and cauaed injury because the FIA itself choose to play it for everyone to hear. Whereas Horner was made directly to the media.

Found this comment somewhere, and I have to really agree on it. "Masi doesn't demand respect from teams like Whiting did". What Horner said was flat-out wrong, but the fact that he was able to say it kinda shows how Red Bull doesn't respect Masi that much at all. There's examples for a lot of the other teams, but I don't think there was THIS much criticism/attacks during Whiting's reign.

I actually entirely understand this and why it has to be this way. I work at a dirt track here in the US, nothing huge or anything just a small local track. But we all try and stick together as a team. You can say the track as a whole has done something wrong, but don't just come at one of the officials on a personal level like that. We are a team and always will be. If we aren't, the racing isn't enjoyable to watch and it sure isn't enjoyable to drive

Coming from the USA where in the NFL coaches and players constantly call out refs and ref teams by name, this seems stupid. The judging doesn’t get better with behind the scenes formal complaints. They need to be able to be called out, directly, and in the open. Otherwise nothing changes.

And let’s be honest, we need some change here.
