Feels more like 'Pirates of the Caribbean' than LotR, but a fun scene.

Am I missing something? Aren’t the numenorians supposed to be OP? They literally turned the tide of battle when they started helping the elves fight against Sauron in the second age and even captured him after decimating his army

Zero LOTR vibes at all, more like a Disney movie or generic phantasy commedy like Eragon or something

I understand the timelines don't really add up amongst other things in to the books, but I wish they would have kept the Numenoreans more accurate to how they are in the lore. They were absolute giants. I think they averaged near 7ft. Strong as all hell. They're just portrayed as regular men in this show. The elves are shown to possess power and ridiculous agility and combat skills. Why not show these men do the same?

She didn't mention Celebrian her daughter who was over 2000 years old and married to Elrond who bore two sons when this didn't happen because rings of power sucks. And she NEVER WENT TO NUMENOR

I really love this scene and I’m going to say why because I know you all want my perfect opinion. Yes, the númenóreans are really good at fighting. And so is Galadriel. She is one of the most skilled elves of the Noldor, and she’s lives for thousands of years, she’s had time to become extremely powerful at fighting. The scene it’s supposed to look difficult for the númenóreans to even touch her, and it’s also supposed to look boringly easy for Galadriel to repeal of them. So why does she say “well done”? Because she knows she’s good and it was difficult to harm her, dammit!
This is my opinion in the writing context. I don’t know about the choreography because I don’t have any idea, so that’s a blank space. I leave it to you.
And please, let’s not forget about Bear’s soundtrack that’s remarcably gorgeous
