You are cracking me up with the comment about Peruvian Connection - old lady named Ellen and her sister Elaine with a cabin in the woods. That is literally my great aunts names and they live together in a cabin in the woods- both their husbands passed a while ago! Too funny! Guess I'll save my Peruvian Connection for them.

18 of those 20 brands you guys talked about are literally the brands that have been sitting in my closet with minimal interest for the past year!!! Spot on!!

I’m in South Florida. The girlies love their Lilly here. You can find it everywhere. I only pick up vintage pieces or very new prints and styles in L or XL or plus sizes. Swim also does awesome for that brand.

Totally agree with most of these. Sundry is another one I can't sell. Betabrand still moves for me and the Peruvian Connection sweaters can still do well. Other high-end brands I never pick up anymore is Lafayette 148, Vince (unless it's a nice sweater or coat), Eileen Fisher (only if large or plus size), Rebecca Taylor, Nanette Lepore, Trina Turk, all those brands just sit.

I tend to stay away from anything kuhl except the pants. The key I have learned with kuhl pants is if the style name is included in the listing it sells faster and for more money. It is one of those brands you definitely have to include the style name because most buyers search for the style name.

Kühl! I can’t keep Kühl in my closet or eBay store more than a week! Especially anything newer with a style code or name on it! Fav bread and butter brand!

Peruvian Connection still does great for me! I just sold a Decades Jacket for $335. It was beautiful!

This is a sneak preview of all the brands I've been unable to find, but will now start finding. 🤣

I work at a Style Encore in southeastern PA and we have an entire section of our store dedicated to JUST Lilly Pulitzer things. Our biggest event of the year is the Lilly Pulitzer event at the end of next month. It's not just the South and Florida, unfortunately.

This is a legit comedy roast of the failing brands. So spot on. $250 for plastic? NO. 😂

Peruvian Connection is still one of my top sellers. My average sale price is about $50 on their sweaters! Loved this video, thanks for sharing!

Loved this!!! Now I know what not to look for when out sourcing, this video is a money saver for me. Thanks so much for sharing the logos. Please do this again perhaps doing it based on season.

I feel that the hype on Rothys is over as well.

I think I’ve mentioned this before, but I would love to see an updated “favorite brands ever to sell” video! I know they get outdated, but that’s half the fun, lol!

Lol I know all these NOLOs are spot on because I started finding them in my small town GW. Great video - love that you included pics of the brand/labels.

On point! However...men's Kuhl still moves for me. Betabrand is absolutely hit or miss, and I'm finding size to be a huge driver on this brand, as you indicated. Great video!

Love this video! My personal experience -- Peruvian Connection wool and linen still sell for good money, but not the more basic pieces. Kuhl mens cargo pants sell for quite a bit, especially to outdoorsy dudes looking to replace their old pants (I hit up an estate sale and bought out some guys closet of them -- maybe 5 pairs -- they sold super quick on Posh and Grailed). And Betabrand big sizes still do ok in the bootcut/flare/solid realm.

I live near a Peruvian Connection retail store. It sells well for me based on the fabric content. Betabrand is good in solid colors & larger sizes. I had to take a loss on a pair of Good American shoes but I still move NWT Bed Stu. I agree with everything else you said especially Joie can't give that away (even in 100% silk).

You’re spot on with soft surroundings, as much as I think I like it it NEVER sells!!
