this is the cleanest and highest quality version of the PS1 startup sound available on youtube as of this moment. the version in this video hits the bass notes the best and all of the other "HD" or "Remastered" versions cut off at 14 or 15 seconds and miss that last bit of fade.

I remember being 5 years old and coming home from school, finishing my homework, and playing video games after dinner. Sure, we had a SNES before the PlayStation (even had it plugged into a TV in my bedroom),
but nothing in the world could quite compare to the magic that seemed to radiate from the TV screen and speakers during that boot sequence. Whenever I re-watch this video, my mind seems to travel back in time 15 years to recall a sensation of pure bliss.
