Rescued cats learn to trust humans

Lake Puruvesi and Lake Haukuvesi were rescued from a difficult situation with more than 20 cats. Puruvesi arrived with an eye infection so severe that his right eye had to be removed. Bonded by their shared experiences, these two are slowly showing their affectionate sides and learning to trust humans in foster. They've even made friends with their resident dog foster brother! Thanks to your support, Puruvesi and Haukevesi were given a safe and patient space where they've grown to enjoy playtime and accept pets. I’m so glad you have no limit what age of catch you rescue and keep and try to get homes for here in Delaware. Several of the shelters are now not taking cats six months or older even if they’re friendly, makes me sick! they’re friendly. Get them off the street help them find homes they don’t wanna be outside.

I'm socializing a kitten right now- he's a bit older than these though. I've found that the wet squeeze treats are a huge tool.
Those and letting the kitten see me playing with my own cats. He really watches and you can tell he wants to join in.

He'll get there.

I'm getting ready to go through this. The mother of the 2 cats I adopted is still running around on the streets. I'm putting a big cage on my front porch to hold her in and gonna catch her and get her fixed.
