What is the best morning routine in 2018 for men? There are a lot of morning routine videos already out there, but not many actually list the scientific benefits of the things they do in their morning routine. The reason my morning routine is the way it is, is because I have researched what the best practices are.

There are 6 things that my morning routine consists of:

1) Have a big glass of water
2) Have a cold shower
3) Show gratitude
4) Meditate
5) Create a to do list
6) Work Out

I think it’s important to remember that you have to develop your own morning routine, of course when you are starting out it’s good to copy someone else who has a good morning routine. But when it comes to developing your own, but getting the best morning routine will come from trial and error. How successful you are for the day will be determined how successful your morning routine is, if you have a great routine you are setting your self up for success.

I am not going to list all the benefits of the above six steps, but if you are interested in learning more about it simply google things like “Benefits of a cold shower” I would also recommend looking up “What are the side effects of coffee?” and don’t just look at the good stuff!

I tried this today. My crying baby isn't on the list so I ignored her. Meditating for 10 minutes was difficult.

A lot of people say they don’t have time for all this, but a little secret of mine - combine multiple items. For example, in the shower I think of my 3 things I’m grateful for, I can meditate for a few minutes and I can stretch. Oh also I’d say stretching in a morning is one of the most important things to do, along with the glass of water. All the other things are just good things to do, but water and a stretch are absolutely essential. You just have to observe cats waking up and see they’ll stretch every time. So, combine the items to make the routine shorter and easier and the shower is a great place to nail most of them within 10 minutes. Love the life you live

I don't want to go to work every morning but I still do. Been doing this for years so this means my willpower muscle must be highly developed.

I wake up at 4 am drink a glass of water, brush my teeth, take a shower, study Maths for 2 hours, have breakfast and then go to school.



I will try to include meditation as well.

Having a morning routine is so key. I actually just started one myself. I added a 10 minute meditation and it is currently doing wonders for me!

This is actually the best advice anyone could give. Start with 1 thing and add gradually. Patience and don't try to do everything at once.

Water with lemon
Ice cold shower
Shave
Make bed
Meditate 15 minutes
Push ups

I put together a similar routine before even watching this video. Since I have started doing all of these things daily I’ve become much more self disciplined, responsible, and happier. I will definitely add writing my goals down everyday as part. Thank you!

Great video man.
In the last 2 of three days, I've got out of bed when I woke up (typically 5:30), wrote my dream down, went on a run, found a nice place to meditate outside, came back and took a shower (warm, not cold lol). I feel great and the day feels just so much longer.
I'm gonna add the gratitude step and the task list. Right now I have been working on random things aimlessly and getting distracted a lot.
