The river Ganges of India was a celestial river brought down to earth after prayers by a great king Bhagiratha. The river Goddess Ganga is venerated by all Hindus. India has many other sacred rivers and waters from sacred rivers and ponds are collected and used for worship on very special occasions such as consecration of a murti. Yes!! Remembering our rivers, too (Oshun)! Here I swim The North Platte, and it feels like liquid silk on the body. The sacred home of The Cheyenne Arapahoe and Lakota/Lakota-Sioux. What a blessing to be a custodian of the land! I so enjoy cleaning up the garbage around there. I can feel The Spirits of the place as I watch rainbows form and eagles fly over head—how Divine. I am from the Ancient city of benin, in Nigeria. We and the Yorubas worship the same deities. everything this woman is talking about is directly piercing my soul. The womb has water too as amniotic fluid. Thank you for explaining more about water. I almost drowned in the Indian Ocean, I always feel like I will float away as much as I am called by water in general, I now see this from a different perspective. The waters taught me a lot. Goddesses such as Isis and Hathor are also associated with water.

I was vacationing on the island curacao about 8 years ago. I was with my son and husband. We went to kleine knipp, a beach there. The sea was calm I had a crazy thought.... I talked to the sea and said hit me with a it did. I fell.... I laughed.... I said hit me again but this time a good one... it hit me hard....I hurt my thigh.... but I didnt feel pain... I was laughing the sea lives❤❤❤❤ very great experience.
