American English Accent Training Overview:
This course is for those who want to improve and perfect their American English Speaking, to have a native-like accent, and to speak more confidently and fluently.

You’ll learn/get:

Weekly Q&A with Alex: have all your English-related questions answered!

Videos of Individual Sounds in American English: All the sounds in American English phonetics, including the tricky ones like seat / sit. You'll get to see how the individual sounds are used in different words, and I’ll give you a list of audio files to practice along with.

Weekly exclusive recorded lessons - In each week’s class, I’ll teach you:

Connected reading rules: Each week, step by step, I'll explain a few of the many rules in American connected reading and intonation, to prepare you to have a native-like accent.

Connected reading & Intonation practice with rules applied: We’ll apply these rules in reading. Sentence by sentence, I'll highlight and explain the parts where we need to connect sounds, and where we need to adjust our tone of speech to make us sound more natural and fluent.

Word choice explanation to enlarge your vocabulary: We'll look at the word choice and the lexical chains in the text to enhance your vocabulary and precision of usage in English.

Hey, Alex, could you do me a favour & make up a lesson on how to correctly pronounce the “R” in a word e.g the ‘r’ in “Turn” or in “started” I have a tough time with such. Thank you in advance my brother.
