With no trustees in attendance, the special Thornton Township meeting called by Thornton Township Supervisor Tiffany Henyard ended before it began, but Henyard saw an opportunity to speak uninterrupted to the small group of people in the room.

Every time she hosts an event without acknowledging the legitimate requests made of her and not ensuring financial audits are provided, it's a slap in the face to each taxpaying resident. It's so unfortunate how the elders we should be looking to for wisdom are behaving like ignorant sheep in support of her. I pray she repents because God's wrath will be far worse than any jail sentence. The children and grandchildren of these seniors need to educate them on whats happening because its clear some are still in the dark despite media being on site weekly and almost daily updates on the news. Smh The judge who dismissed her recall should be held accountable - this could have been avoided.

Hey Tiffany, if you care so much about your seniors, you should’ve paid for that cake with your own money if you cared so much. If you wanted to do right by your people pay for it yourself and then go tell the trustees. Hey look I paid for this. This is a problem we need the services, instead of not giving it to the people blaming it on the trustees and them not getting the services. It doesn’t make sense if you love them so much you pay for it out of your own money!
